What The Minimalist Kiwi is NOT

I have a cubby bookcase in my home office and in this photo, is one of the cubby's.

As you can see, it's full of what some may call "stuff", "knick knacks", "bric a brac". Being minimalist is NOT about bare white walls and empty space! I used to think it was and that's why I never explored minimalism further.

What I have come to realise is that minimalism is all about decluttering your space but doing it in a way that the things you really love, stand out in the space they live in.

For me, it's not about "sparking joy" as Marie Kondo is famous for. That language and ritual is a little too fluffy for me. We know what pieces are important to us and what aren't. And if you don't then that is where I can come in and help guide you through the process.

If you're curious to find out more, I am offering FREE consultations through October and November. Just in time to make some space for Christmas gifts!
